Hello Bapl nation.
If you’ve been following our journey for a while, you’ll know that we’ve been fine tuning our messaging here in the Lab. And as you’ve heard me say several times, you’re witnessing a brand’s development in real-time, and we’re thrilled to have you be a part of the journey as we continue to find our market fit.
We’ve been hearing from people within the Bapl Nation over the past weeks, and it’s clear that we’re pressing the right buttons with our fine tuning.
Every day, it’s becoming more clear where the value lies that we are offering to you, our Bapletes.
Whatever you do in life, every obstacle you face, every adventure you go on, whether taking a detour on your path or starting from scratch, it all takes time. It takes effort.
And as Business Athletes, it’s the journey of building something extraordinary, the ‘performance’ part, that you have to embrace and enjoy—not the end result.
It’s the ability to find fulfilment in the process, and not the end, that sets you apart from the rest.
It’s the ability to show up day in and day out.
But how do you do that?
What’s the secret ingredient that helps some focus on their goals while others lag and never achieve their Next?
It is not another system. It is not another book. It is not another app.
It is more simple than that…
It is something nebulous, laser-focused, specific.
It is singular. And it is results-based.
Admittedly, it’s something most people struggle with.
It’s the other meaning of “A” in “Bapl”.
You know… The hardest “A” word in the world?
Accountability.
It’s a heavy word, isn’t?
Polarizing. Because some people love it and others hate it.
To us in the Lab, it’s a foundational word. A word of principle. A word that comes with the promise of endless potential.
IF we can uphold it.
Most people can’t.
“I’m too busy.”
“This thing came up and I just couldn’t…”
“Sorry I’m late, but…”
It’s tough being accountable.
To be fair, nobody teaches us about it.
We have to learn it. It is a life skill earned through a process of trying, falling, failing, succeeding, rinsing, repeating, and trying again.
When you uphold accountability, success—however you define and measure it—is inevitable.
When you decide to be accountable to whatever goal you want to achieve, you will achieve it. You don’t need to be the smartest guy in the room. I’m not. You don’t need some magical talent to get you there. I certainly don’t have one. All you need is to show up. Every day.
Whether your Next is a difficult life transition with the goal of getting yourself beyond misery, pain, or anger; or whether it’s finding your Next by trekking to the top of mount Kilimanjaro, being accountable is your secret weapon to the inevitable.
It’s the one thing that will get you there every time, no matter what.
But it takes time. It takes effort. It takes commitment.
You’re committed to creating a better life, a fulfilled life, a life of excellence. I know you are.
But the accountability to get there may be lacking, for whatever reason.
No judgement.
I’ve been where you are. I was you.
And I want to help. Bapl wants to help and see you succeed.
So, bring your goal, your system, your Next to us, and we’ll bring the accountability.
We’ll show up with you, every single day. We’ll push you and cheer you on and be there to watch you succeed.

Until next time, remember: tomorrow, next week, next month is happening. It can be mediocre or it can be epic; which way it goes is in your hands. I’m going to keep showing up. I’m going to be right here in the Lab, ready to help you hold yourself accountable.
I’m Keith, your Chief Baplete.
