Most people think winning the morning is about willpower. They think it’s about motivation.
But
has another take. Our phones have us on leashes. Scrolling Instagram, late-night YouTube… We get dopamine hits all day. And when it’s time to wake up early, or push our goals, our brains want one thing:
Another hit.
Instead of fighting this nature, Dan rewired it.
He replaced “junk dopamine” with “progress dopamine.”
Instead of chasing notifications, he started chasing habits:
Winning his morning routine
Learning from podcasts
Journaling at night
Now his brain doesn’t crave distractions anymore.
It craves momentum because he trained himself to want consistent progress.
